- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Chase is one of the big banks that has been around during the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913. I do not have faith in the dollar at all. They have charged me in total over $40 in the past few months in fees for my savings account. Look at your bills. They are called "legal tender". It is not supported my anything if actual value. Every bill is debt owed to the federal reserve. Chase and the other big banks didn't initially cause this, but they sure as hell are the problem. I advise everyone to get out of the big banks and either not have any banking account, or to go to a smaller bank. Do not support these people.By Nicholas Peter, December 11, 2017
