  I have just graduated from this school. I would like to say that the program and the instructor were amazing. Do you know why? 1. During your time in this course you will get an equal amount of attention to both studies and training. 2. You will learn a lot more extra information from. 3. Training, training, training. During the 6 months of practice in this course, by the time it's graduation time, you will be confident in your skills. 4. Ms. Carrie leads a creative course bound to teach you everything you need to know to become an esthetician. Ms. Carrie as well as being the course instructor, is also a practicing esthetician herself. 5. Dr. Doran has 30 years experience as a dermatologist in Europe. She continuously strives along with other estheticians to improve the procedures used today. She sharing with us her revolutionize methods and techniques. Thank you very much for these past 6 months, which gave me a wonderful proffesion. I wish good luck and prosperity for this school and special for Dr. Doran.

  If you want to become one of the most knowledgeable estheticians, I would highly recommend this school. We started hands-on practice the first week. This program focuses on facial massage techniques, facial machines, skin analysis / treatment plans, waxing, infection control, and more! They bring in professionals from the industry, such as BioElements, PCA, and Laser training from AMMP. We also got a quick course on spray tanning, which was fun. Make-up was a small portion, 3 days, so if you intend to become a make-up artist, you will need additional training. Both Dr. Doran and Miss Carrie are very passionate about teaching and have different teaching styles, which enables you to learn in different ways. Dr. Doran’s Dermatology background gives you knowledge that you will not find in other schools. Miss Carrie’s theory classes were so informative and the way she presented the information and the activities we did in class, really helped me to retain the information, and do well on tests. I left the school feeling confident about my abilities to properly understand different skin types/conditions, contraindications, and how to effectively treat. If you want to work in a salon/spa or be a business owner, the Clinical Esthetics program is the way to go. If you want to work in a Med spa, you may consider both this program and the Medical Assistant program. Keep in mind, in the state of Illinois, you cannot perform laser treatments, without further training and doctor supervision. Overall, I am very happy with my training. Thank you again to Dr. Doran and Miss Carrie for the best education. I will miss seeing their smiling faces every day! Much love and respect to you both.

  There is less than 2 weeks before my graduation from International Skin Beauty Academy and all I can say is that I'm happy with my choice. If you want to become one of the most knowledgeable esthetician, I would highly recommend you to attend this school. The teachers are amazing and the environment is clean.
